50 Cent brought the party to San Diego yesterday with an afternoon at Nick Cannon’s new Wild ‘N Out Sports Bar and Arcade. Joined by Cannon, who recently introduced his new restaurant and bar to his hometown, the world-renowned rapper, actor, producer, and entrepreneur shocked fans in the laidback Gaslamp Quarter as he kicked back over baseball, cognac and burgers.
Cannon came out to support his superstar friend with the addition of the new Candy Shop cocktail – made with 50 Cent’s own Branson Cognac V.S. Phantom, peach schnapps, lemonade, and grenadine with a side shot of Branson Cognac V.S. Phantom; and the Henny Bomb, made with Hennessy, Branson Cognac V.S. Phantom, peach schnapps, coconut rum, grenadine, and Red Bull, garnished with a cherry-flavored sugar rim and maraschino cherries on top, among other cocktails.
The Wild ‘N Out Girls made it a party with oversized cut-outs of photos of each star, sparklers, and bottles of 50 Cent’s Le Chemin Du Roi Brut Champagne.
While taking in some baseball and golf on Wild ‘N Out’s many HDTVs, Cannon, 50 Cent, and their friends snacked on Wild ‘N Out signature favorites including the WNO Burger, a Black Angus beef patty topped with cheddar cheese, WNO sauce, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes and crispy shoestring onions atop a brioche bun; a fresh beer-battered lobster fried crispy and served with waffle fries; and Wild ‘N Out shareable buckets of fried dill pickle chips, among other items.
50 Cent took selfies and chatted with guests throughout his visit, even shooting hoops on the arcade basketball game with fans. Before departing for the night, 50 Cent treated guests at the “eatertainment” destination to a round of Branson Cognac shots, which was met with raucous applause from the packed venue.
