A Interview With Kriphie

Kriphie

Today, I wanted to do something different for our audience here at USAWire and highlight a creator from abroad. Although the creator resides in the Philippines, his organic reach is international from his gaming and IRL content. Without further ado, let me introduce you to Kriphie. I had the pleasure of sitting down with him to talk about his journey as a content creator.

Before we get into the interview, I wanted to share a few of his accolades and how I stumbled across him and his content. Across social media Kriphie has a network of almost 400k people. I was fortunate to stumble across him on Facebook in the Roblox category playing Blox Fruit. Unlike many other big creators, Kriphie engages with his audience via live stream chat and has his own clan in the game for his community. To top things off, he allows his viewers to create content with him. Not to mention the many giveaways he has given to his fans. Now, from my point of view, let us hear from the man himself.

What does your content consist of?

The content that I did a while back was playing among us with friends I met online. I was not doing very well back then because I was still new to streaming. Then I stopped, I looked at it as a hobby back then. But now I visualize it as a business I need to grow. Just this year, on January 20, 2022, I took content creation seriously and studied what I needed to do, determine who my audience was, and how to entertain them. I had help from one of my friends, Pederikachu. He helped me get back up and made a name for myself. We played a game on Roblox called Pet Simulator and started enjoying it. I grew my Facebook page there from 400 followers to 5,000 followers in just a few weeks. Then, I started to look for other games to play. On March 12, 2022, I came across a game called Blox Fruits, which was a game inspired by the anime One Piece. I am a huge fan of it, which is why I greatly relate to it. I began streaming it and sharing my One Piece knowledge with my audiences. We were able to build a connection through anime and gaming. Right there and then, I knew there was potential for me to grow because it is within my playing field. 5 months into making content on Blox fruits, I grew my page from 5k followers to 70k. I was able to buy my very own computer because of it.

What inspired you to create content?

I dreamed of making content on YouTube because I was a fan of PewDiePie, Markiplier, Jacksepticeye, and VanossGaming. They were my biggest inspiration to pursue content back then. They were just having fun doing what they love most, playing games. As a kid back then, I loved playing games, and when I discovered that I could do it as a job, it made me want to pursue it even more.

What is your next project?

The next project I plan to do is a variety of content. I want to do vlogs, Mukbangs, reviews, and all sorts of stuff unrelated to gaming. I do not want to limit myself to one single content. I want to pursue new ventures and see for myself what is waiting for me in the future.

Any advice you can give to a future influencer?

My advice for a future streamer, content creator, and influencer is not to be afraid of failing, to have setbacks, and especially not be bothered by those people who are saying that you are not cut out for this. If you genuinely believe that this is the path you want to take, then take it. Use what resources you have. Do not use the excuse of “I don’t have this, that’s why I can’t do it,” but instead, “I have this, what can I do with it?”. Many influencers I know started from nothing. They do not have fancy equipment or high-end computers. They only have their phones and use them to their advantage. That is how they grew because they persevered.

Anything you want your fans to know that they do not know about you?

I love watching theatrical and musical plays because I used to dream of being in movies and TV series. When I was in elementary, we had a theatrical play, and it was Beauty and the Beast. I portrayed Gaston, the antagonist of the story. Unfortunately, I do not have a copy of it, so I cannot share it with you guys.
