Alejandro Vicuña, a Venezuelan with a successful career in the music business, gives advice to new artists and professionals.
Thanks to his vision, persistence, and experience in the music industry, Alejandro Vicuña has achieved many of his goals since he came to the United States in 2013. He has led multi-million dollar deals such as Marc Anthony’s last tour in Spain, he has worked with stars like Ozuna, Alejandro Sanz, and Maluma, and now as General Manager of NEON16, the talent incubator founded by Tainy and Lex Borrero, he continues to grow professionally, bringing new business and opportunities to the company.
This year, Alejandro and NEON16 have partnered with world-renowned brands that want to have a presence in Latino pop culture in the United States. Some of the brands that Alejandro is currently working with are Bacardi, Pandora (Jewelry), NFL, and Adidas, among others.
Thanks to his hard work and persistence, Vicuña has achieved a respected position in the music industry and among his biggest goals, this year is to support students, young professionals, and emerging artists who are pursuing their dreams and need guidance
and mentorship in the industry. On his social media, he regularly shares tips on topics of interest in the music business. In early July he was invited along with Lex Borrero to Full Sail University, located in Orlando, FL, for a panel about the music business. Alejandro,
who graduated from Full Sail with a master’s degree in entertainment business, met again with the student community and shared advice through stories and anecdotes about working and touring with artists such as Luis Miguel and Daddy Yankee.
Since February 2021, Alejandro has led the operations of NEON16’s record label for the release of Tainy’s super-hit “Lo Siento BB:/” with Bad Bunny and Julieta Venegas, which ranked #6 on the global Spotify charts for several weeks. He has also led the release of
Yandel’s Dynasty album with Tainy and Tainy’s most recent release single with Rauw Alejandro, Sci-Fi.
