Introducing pOpshelf!
There are many stores out there that people love. People love to shop at Walmart, Target, Kohls’s, and Costco. Then there are bargain stores where people can find hot deals because…who doesn’t love a good deal? When thinking of bargain stores, stores that come to mind could be:
- Bargain Hunt
- Five Below
- Dollar Tree
And quite honestly, it can be hit or miss in some of these stores. Sometimes a good bargain can be found, but then break or not really be worth it once you get it home. Or the pricing could be somewhat misconstrued. It may say “dollar” in the title, but then there are products with price tags much more significant than a dollar.
Enter the newest bargain store in the market! pOpshelf!
pOpshelf is entering the scene in many suburban cities this year. The company is a brand of Dollar General looking to expand their brand and cater to suburban areas. As of February 2021, there were 8 stores, and they have a goal to open 50 more stores in 2021. So many things can be found past their front doors. Home décor, but really good. Crafting supplies are incredible gifts for those who probably should receive a holiday gift, but it won’t break the bank. Most things in pOpshelf can be found for $5.00 or less, with some things ranging slightly above that price point.
First things first, when walking into pOpshelf, the aesthetics are on point. It is bright, cheery, fun, and it just makes the shopper want to browse for hours. When checking out their website, pOpshelf says this:
“We believe shopping should be an experience you enjoy—a time to wander. Explore. Linger. A momentary escape just for you.”
HOW FITTING! It’s truly an escape from reality to walk into this beautiful store. The displays found at the front of the store make the shopper want to buy everything. Once the shopper starts wandering around this store, many things will find their way into the cart—it’s incredible what can be found and all for a truly affordable price.
When ready to check out at pOpshelf, the counters are more like kiosks. They are lined with lovely last-minute purchases, and all the registers are self-serve, but with an associate to help should anything go wrong.
pOpshelf is expanding quickly and should be in a suburban area near you soon! These stores pop from the curb when seen. It is definitely worth it to check it out… be careful; many hours may be lost once you step through the doors—it’s that great!
