More than solving a problem what the product did was facilitate people’s ways of sending sweet boxes to their loved ones during the peak of the pandemic when everything was so uncertain. Bell’s Cookie Co.
Tell us about the founder. What is their background?
Founders Brooke and Tomas, a married couple who are driven by entrepreneurship. They both started Table Catering Co. in the Seattle area in 2017. Brooke graduated from culinary school at The Culinary Institute of America in New York and Tomas, originally from Colombia, is a business passion which they together have made into a strong team. How did they come up with the idea?
So 2020 we all know what happened, Covid. That year was yet to be the biggest year for their first business Table Catering Co. But plans changed very quickly, every day they started receiving events cancellations calls because people were not gathering, so as they saw the business crumble down in a certain way in front of their eyes they quickly went into “construction plan”. Having their commercial kitchen they gotta come up with a plan, so cookies were the answer, baking cookies in the morning and delivering them in the afternoon one day at a time, then a little walk-up window store and now a flagship store in the Greenlake area in Seattle with now corporate accounts lime Delta airlines. How can this transform the world or our day-to-day lives?
They have multiple charities they donate part of their sales. They are committed to doing a matching program to support the charity they have selected for every month of the year. Trying to make this a better world one cookie at a time. Bell’s Cookie Co.
