LISA’s Next Big Move: From Music to Comics
Global superstar LISA is taking her creativity to new heights. Best known as a member of BLACKPINK and a record-breaking solo artist, LISA has officially announced the launch of Lalisa Comics in partnership with Zero Zero Entertainment. The company’s first project, ALTER-EGO: THE OFFICIAL COMIC, serves as a companion to her highly anticipated debut solo album, ALTER-EGO, set for release on February 28 via LLOUD Co./RCA Records.
A Bold New Creative Vision
ALTER-EGO: THE OFFICIAL COMIC will be a premium 56-page limited-edition release that visually expands on the themes of LISA’s album. The comic, illustrated by acclaimed Japanese artist MINOMIYABI, promises a compelling story packed with breathtaking visuals, centering around transformation, courage, and unity—key themes reflected in her music. This project showcases LISA’s ability to push artistic boundaries beyond music and into the world of storytelling and visual art.
Zero Zero Entertainment: Powering Unique Artist Narratives
LISA’s collaboration with Zero Zero Entertainment brings an innovative edge to this project. The company, led by CEO Josh Frankel, has built a reputation for elevating artist storytelling through creative activations. Zero Zero Entertainment has worked with major artists such as Metro Boomin, Boy with Uke, The Grateful Dead, Elvis, Gorillaz, and Machine Gun Kelly, seamlessly blending music with comic book narratives. By joining forces with LISA, they continue their tradition of bringing music-driven storytelling to a broader audience.
LISA: A Global Powerhouse in Music, Fashion, and Entertainment
LISA’s dominance extends far beyond her music. She has already cemented herself as a cultural icon through her record-breaking solo releases. With hits like Lalisa and Money, she shattered global streaming records and became the first solo K-pop artist to win at both the MTV Video Music Awards and the MTV European Music Awards. Money remains the longest-charting solo K-pop song on both the Billboard Hot 100 and the U.K. Singles Chart.
In 2024, LISA launched LLOUD Co., her own management company, allowing her to take creative control over her projects. Under this new venture, she has already released singles like Rockstar, New Woman (featuring Rosalía), and Moonlit Floor. She has also dominated the fashion world, appearing on the cover of ELLE Magazine and becoming an ambassador for Louis Vuitton and Bulgari.
A Rising Star in Hollywood
Beyond music and fashion, LISA is set to make her acting debut in the upcoming third season of HBO’s hit series The White Lotus, which is currently filming in her home country of Thailand. This marks a significant milestone in her career, proving her versatility as an entertainer.
