Adapt to every adversity you face, Brandon says. Treat every dark period in your life as a chance to learn instead of taking it as a sign from the universe to back down. Be stronger than you were before. Continue doing this until you gain enough momentum that the haters and the naysayers lose interest in you. Keep doing this until you can say with pride that you have achieved what you set out to do. As a young man, Brandon worked for the well-known Atlanta Falcons’ Public Relations department. This was a once-in-a-lifetime chance for him to interact with athletes directly and learn about their perspective.
