What problem does the CMY Cube solve?
We’re the world’s first makers of the CMY Cubes & polyhedrons. Products that help teach subtractive color mixing in a tactile way. We aim to encourage logical thinking and curiosity whilst teaching the optics and physics of subtractive color mixing.
Tell us about the founder. What is their background?
While excelling in FinTech at the young age of 19, I was fortunate enough to come into contact with some of the world’s most successful e-commerce businesses. What struck me was how a strong social media presence could impact their revenue and returning customer rates. It was this combination of passions – social media, entrepreneurship, and e-commerce – that led me to start my first online business.
Each day after work I went on a journey of self-instruction into digital marketing, paid media, social engagement, and community-driven e-commerce. As my intuition in society developed, I applied my skills to multiple self-started, self-funded, e-commerce businesses providing products such as waterproof handbags, activewear, and educational science toys.
Success in these markets opened opportunities for my career shift from FinTech to a role as a Senior Campaign Strategist in Digital Marketing for multiple global companies. For over half a decade I have executed digital marketing strategies through content marketing and paid media working with top companies in the industry.
After years of developing my skill set, I gained broad-based expertise in digital media, entrepreneurship, and specifically, e-commerce.
How did they come up with the idea?
As with many people, COVID put us in an extremely difficult financial situation with work drying up for Lorenzo during the peak of lockdown. This gave him a little more time on his hands to find a new way to make ends meet. Lorenzo is a bit of a science nerd and we both have always loved experimenting and making new things so we came up with the idea of making CMY Cubes. What we didn’t realize is that it would be as big of a hit as it has become all over the world
How can this transform the world or our day-to-day lives?
We bring joy and inspiration to everyone’s lives through color and curiosity.

What do customers love most about the product?
The CMY Cube is interesting in that it is both an object of beauty and a tool to excite and yet soothe the mind. When you start exploring and playing with the cube it is initially very exciting but then it starts to become soothing and meditative. This cycle is initiated each time you explore the cube. It is indeed a remarkable object!
