At certain junctures in our lives, we realize we are standing at a fork in the path. We are aware that there must be some kind of change in order for things to improve, but we may sometimes be unsure about the extent of the shift. A transition is more of a straightforward route from one status to another, while transformation necessitates a significant shift in our mindset. Though there are different types of life coaching, the practice of working closely with an individual to guide someone through big life transitions to help them to create their personal growth and development and, eventually, change their perspective on life is referred to as transformational life-coaching or life-change coaching. The fundamental principle that underpins transformational coaching is to be able to guide someone to their desired change. It may involve looking at one’s life as a whole, including aspects such as one’s cultural identity, people who impact you, and/or limiting beliefs.
Bernadette’s experience in a transformational life coached her to the conclusion that the most significant advantage of transformational coaching is to clear or change what may be blocking and/or preventing someone from their full potential. Because the procedure places a premium on attaining a genuine comprehension of the issue at hand within the scope of an individual’s mindset, it presents a unique opportunity. She has been able to gain awareness of the impact of her unique perspective to understand the special gifts everyone has to share and the ability to conquer their fears as they progress through transformational life coaching. This allows Bernadette to make a difference and an impact in other people’s lives.
Bernadette’s techniques as a transformational life coach
1. BreakFree technique
Bernadette created BreakFree, a system that works with the brain itself; a scientific truth that guarantees one will save time as it will change one’s life forever! She has a thorough understanding to demonstrate to her clients how she can work with a superconscious mind and why certain tools and techniques for personal development may or may not work for an individual, and ultimately deliver results while being able to scientifically prove results can be achieved.
2. Motivational Therapy
Bernadette uses a motivational therapy approach to her coaching. She is able to guide her clients through the many phases of transition, where she is able to guide her clients to overcome ambivalence, boost their intrinsic motivation, strengthen their sense of self-efficacy, and increase their confidence.
3. Circle of life technique
Bernadette’s clients have immediately regained control over any aspect of their lives after using this strategy, which is one of the reasons why she has found it to be so successful. She uses this strategy with clients who are at a place in their life where they feel overwhelmed, stuck, worn out, and/or powerless and need a change in perspective in order to move forward. She is able to lead her clients by having them make a list of the things they want to change first and address each variable causing the challenges in their lives and work with them one change at a time. The method provides an all-encompassing perspective of the circumstances around the client.
