Ariel Lavi hosts the actress, model, and singer for an interview about the career.
Hello Erin! How are you?
Great!
What exactly do you do for a career?
I work as an actress, model and singer.Currently I’m lead singer for a Dallas, Texas rock band called Love Sick Drug.
What was the process for you to find what you wanted to do?
Actually, I’ve been performing since I was seven! And just kept going I guess this industry is crazy but I love it!
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
I would have to say the feeling I get from connecting with people when I’m on stage singing -music touches everybody on this planet like nothing else can it’s incredible.
Can you tell us about your job?
Which one lol. When I’m working as an actress if it’s film or TV -they usually are long days (12 to 16 hours) but I’m with people that are the same as me all creatives. If I’m performing live , it’s usually for corporate events or private parties so everybody’s having a great time. When I’m singing, I work as a fairytale princess and I’m a singer and a rock band so I’m a bit of a chameleon you could say!
What is your greatest success so far?
I’ve gotten to work with a lot of really cool people some big brands and have covered some big magazines and worked on some pretty cool films, but I am nowhere near where I want to be. I feel like if you want something, you’ve really got to hustle.

Where did you grow up?
I’m a military brat- so all over!
What are some of the challenges you faced along the way?
I’ve faced a lot of rejection. This industry is so fickle and you really never know what’s going to happen. But if you love what you do, sometimes the right people will see your hard work and give you a shot.
What does it take to be a successful Actress ?
Goodness, I really don’t have the answer to that! I’m am still working hard at moving the needle forward. I do think having the right connections doesn’t hurt though!
Where do you see yourself in the next five years?
Hopefully on tour with my band and making a few more films!

What advice would you give to a young Actress?
Be yourself. Do not give up on what makes you happy.
Who is your biggest inspiration?
Christina Aguilera, Jessica Lange, Dolly Parton, Jlo and Tom Hardy. They are all so incredibly talented and huge inspirations for me.
