Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Twilight Masquerade was released worldwide on May 24, 2024. Its Japanese counterpart, Transformation Mask, was released before the English release on April 26, 2024. Pokémon trading card game fans are excited to get their hands on the Twilight Masquerade. Much like the previously released Crimson Haze, the Twilight Masquerade centers around different characters and Pokémon and is set in the land of Kitakami. 

Kitakami debuted in The Teal Mask, the first edition of The Hidden Treasury of Area Zero for the Scarlet and Violet game. Moreover, the game debuts Ogerpon, which shows up in the game in its special Tewrastallized variations.  

Moreover, the Twilight Masquerade sets introduce ACE SPEC cards, including one ACE SPEC Special Energy card. The game also includes cards from its Japanese counterpart and Crimson Haze edition. Overall, Twilight Masquerade includes: 

Six ACE SPEC special energy and trainer cards. 

Six extremely rare gold etched cards. 

Twenty-one rare illustration Pokémon. 

Moreover, the set also includes seven Pokémon ex, seven Tera Pokémon-EX, and eleven rare illustrations and Supporter cards.  

The Twilight Masquerade trading card is available in multiple languages, including English, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, and Spanish. While the Japanese counterpart, Transformation Mask, was released on April 26, 2024, other Asian counterparts were released shortly after. 

Conversely, the Chinese version was released on May 10, 2024, and the Indonesian set was released on May 31, 2024. Additionally, the Thai counterpart was also released on the same day as the Indonesian one.

The card set includes over 160, including Special Illustration Rares and others. These cards add a unique setting to gameplay, including different Pokémon in unique settings.
