The Patch Brand was founded by two friends who saw the problem with supplements and decided to take their health into their own hands. Gil began his career in TV, as the gross stunt P.A. on Fear Factor to a producer on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, and even created some stunning reality T.V. moments. Being a part of an Emmy nominated show as well as being one of the youngest producers in television, Gil pivoted his entrepreneurial focus to the wellness space after 20+ years of struggling with gluten and dairy allergies. He worked to build great brands that focused on improving people’s lives during his time at Brandable. David, on the other hand, started his career climbing the corporate ladder in finance, eventually making his way to Berkshire Hathaway where he established a satellite office and brokered multi-million dollar deals before stepping away to partner with Gil.
With 17 global brands under their belts, they doubled down on their passion for business and wellness to create R30 Ventures, a company designed to reimagine high-quality products for the everyday consumer.
How did they come up with the idea?
Due to his dietary restrictions and continual search for ways to heal his own body, Gil was always on top of cutting-edge trends in the wellness industry. In 2017, he came across transdermal technology that releases vitamin and herbal blends through a small and discrete patch. Without any real big brand out there, Gil and David teamed up to develop The Patch Brand as the first mass brand of its kind to offer this easy vitamin solution at an accessible price point.
