Ejaz Khan is a wildlife photographer offering rare, fine art, focusing on the beauty of animals and the environmental changes they face, capturing endangered wildlife and horses around the world. Khan borrows from narrative techniques of film/fashion storytelling and transposes them to his animal subjects. His keen eye for motion allows him to break apart the seemingly untamable patterns of animal movement and capture striking moments, encapsulating the energy and magic of their behavior.
Khan’s other projects include the directorial feature film vanishingknowledge.com a film about the survival of Nokota horses: 49% of profits, he will donate to make sure these horses are taken care of after the owner passes away from cancer. His other film (in pre-production) trapped-themovie.com sheds a light on sex trafficking in the United States.
Khan says, ”Once we stay mindful of the environment, we can slow the process of global warming. We photograph animals in one of the harshest environments to show the beauty of unseen places and habitats. It’s my responsibility to unveil that beauty to inspire everyone to take action. As a fashion photographer, I pay models to work with me. As a wildlife photographer, I don’t pay for my subjects, so I want to give back to the organizations that can help the animals I photograph.”
