Our sunscreens are also paraben-free, sulfate-free, and animal cruelty-free and only hold two active ingredients, which makes them much safer than competing brands to use on our skin daily. The best part is that our products can be used for all ages and are light enough for the face yet strong enough for the entire body. What is the “Founder story”?
IceCream Sunscreen started creating products to make healthy skin protection from the sun a fun and playful thing to do. The company was founded by a single mom in sunny South Florida looking to make sun protectant applications more fun and easy to do with her children. Whether you are a rockstar soaking up the rays on the beach or just going for casual walks outside or anything in between, IceCream Sunscreen has you covered. The product line consists of sunscreen lotion and lip balm in various scents and can be used by all ages. The sunscreen formula created is reef-friendly, water-resistant, animal cruelty-free, sulfate-free and American-made. How did you come up with the idea?
I never appreciated the smell of sunscreen and always thought to myself, “Why not have a brand that markets nice-smelling sunscreen?”. Also, my children were not the easiest to put sunscreen on, and it caused a lot of unnecessary aggravation for them and me (the parent applying). I wanted to enhance the already big sun protectant market by creating a fun, playful brand, and helpful in applying sunscreen daily for all ages. A brand that makes it fun to apply sun protectant instead of a boring task and one that smells great doing it too!

What do customers love most about the product?
An honest answer would be “Everything”!! What are they saying? Clients love that our brand is health-conscious and only has 2 active ingredients. They absolutely love the smell, how lightweight our sunscreens are, and that no extra residue and/or white cast is left behind. They are thrilled at how moisturizing the lip balms keep their lips and that it is not a hard, waxy feeling.
