Making party favors that are Extreamly personal

party favors

Generally when you go to a party most of the time the party favors don’t surprise you. You’ve seen it all, over the hill black paper plates for a 50th, generic happy birthday banner and tablecloth. Prize bag full of plastic junk that parents throw away immediately when their kid comes home from the party, yada, yada.

Recently we ran across an interesting take on the party favor. It’s not necessarily ground breaking but it is a unique twist on it. Custom labels printed in very small quantities from a company called Bottle Your Brand. I know what you are thinking, custom labels aren’t anything new but what these guys are doing is again unique. Instead of having to print hundreds of a custom label design they can do a couple. Literally one in some cases. So instead of having to print up a hundred of a single custom water bottle label design you can print 4 or 5. This allows you to either throw a smaller party, save money or make your party favors more personal.

Printing Single Custom Labels For Parties And Special Occasions

A good example of what I’m talking about is printing one wine label for each of the members of a bridal party. Instead of having to print several dozen (throwing most away) of one design on a label you can create a unique label for each bridesmaid in your wedding party with unique text and their own special photo.

Same thing with kids parties, say your kid is into comic book characters or some other kids show with multiple characters. You can create a few versions of a water bottle label and print up the versions in small amounts. Each kid can then get a version of their own favorite character.

Unique Designs Make It More Special

Not being saddled with having to buy dozens of labels you won’t use gives you the flexibility to to make custom party favors that are more special. We reached out to BYB to get some other ideas on this and one they mentioned was a friend who created 5 different designs of a beer label for a friend’s engagement party. The five designs were photos of them each a different photo with text. One for each year they’d been friends.

So there you have it, a new spin on an old idea. We’ll expect your next party to have some serious customization and if it doesn’t we’ll assume you’re just lazy.
