From Miami’s most dangerous neighborhoods to the biggest screens media has to offer, James Roan intends to make his presence known. He’s a laid-back individual who loves cars, sports, video games, and music like everyone else. However, he has a passion for creating music at a high level. Although he can turn it up when needed and amplify his persona, it comes with being a performing act in entertainment. He cites some of his favorite artists 2Pac to Nas, Jay Z, Missy Elliot, Jill Scott, Prince, Outkast, DMX, Garbage, Summer Walker, Ari Lennox and so much more. These are all staples of his influence and their own work and success are the motivation for James to keep going until he’s among those pioneers.
James is one of the hardest-working individuals we know in the music industry. Starting over at the age of 26, after changing his name and rebuilding his brand completely from scratch. Very few are able to shoulder this pressure and mental stress that comes with rebuilding, but it’s James’s hunger for success that kept him grounded. He plans his own photoshoots, videography, and much more. He says later down the line, he would want to dabble in the film as well. He also has full documentaries, and an episodic series online as well.
One of the highlights of his career was flying to Atlanta and being featured on “DJ Smallz Eyes” one of the biggest interview platforms in the world. Using his voice is another way for him to reach people as well as doing a few voice-over narrations for documentaries and other shorts like “Relay for Life ” Cancer Awareness” and “GAP INC. Breast Cancer” commercials. In terms of music, his lyrical ability, storytelling, smooth voice, and even singing harmonies throughout portions of his songs make him stand out from the pack. Which is very important in these times with so many new artists emerging every day. Being so versatile in music and other avenues of entertainment boosts his brand and value in the world of pop culture. We hope that his time will come soon, as we feel he could be one of the leading faces in hip-hop for a long time to come. James Roan will be a household name in due time.
