What is the “Founder story”?
A few years ago, Marcus’s (Natural Farm’s CEO) dog Linda was having several health issues. She was on a very limited diet, and he struggled to find treats and chews that he could really trust. Most of the products he found were from brands that source globally, then pack the products in their warehouses here in the US in order to falsely claim that their products are made in the USA.
He realized that if he wanted something healthy, safe, and made from natural ingredients, he needed to make his own dog treats and chews. Shortly after he started researching manufacturers to partner up with to make the products. The most important thing was to maintain control over the full manufacturing process, from sourcing to packaging, all in one human-grade facility that would guarantee quality, transparency, and safety. This is how Natural Farm was born!
How did you come up with the idea?
The idea to produce collagen sticks came from our desire to bring innovative and healthy products to the market that would meet the evolving needs of dog owners. We noticed a growing trend in the market where people were seeking healthier alternatives for their dogs that would benefit their overall health and well-being. At the same time, we saw a gap in the market for products that looked and felt similar to the Bully sticks.
