Charles Buist spent much of his time hanging out in a dentist’s office as a child. Buist’s father is a dentist and a single father who raised young Charles alone. Buist spent hours behind the office scenes and saw many horrific cases firsthand. He has vivid memories of patients coming in to see his father after being injured by another dentist due to reckless and careless treatment. As a result, Buist is passionate about dental malpractice and protecting the rights of dental patients.

Buist has a law degree and an MBA from the University of South Carolina, and he has a Master of Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School. Charles graduated with many academic accomplishments and later wrote and published a best-selling law school guide called “How to Crush Law School.”
Beginning his legal career as a federal law clerk in the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina, Buist clerked for the Honorable Joseph F. Anderson, Jr. and the Honorable David R. Duncan at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of South Carolina.
After clerking for two Federal Judges, Buist worked in various practice areas, including dental malpractice and personal injury. Now, he focuses his time and efforts on all sorts of personal injury claims.
