Serenity Organizers: Products To Buy Your Friend Based on Their Sun Sign

Serenity Organizers Innovation

What problem do Serenity Organizers solve?

Serenity Organizers has launched simple travel accessories which solve a common dilemma.  Where can I store all my essentials to be accessible when on the flight? When Covid arose, it added a kicker as people were now concerned about germs. So we nailed it by developing multifunctional travel organizers that are easy to use, lightweight, washable and antimicrobial.

By using Serenity tray and seat organizers, gone are the days of balancing stuff on your lap, leaving belongings in those germy backseat pockets, or twisting into a pretzel to reach your overstuffed carry-on under the seat. Every traveler now has a solution that provides clean storage pockets to safely stash your food, drinks, snacks, and electronics at your fingertips.

How can this transform the world or our day-to-day lives?

This product has transformed the way people travel. By giving travelers a small, lightweight accessory that is washable, they can have a nice relaxing flight by not having to worry about where their belongings are and the cleanliness of the seating area on the plane.

Audrey Hanneman and Lori Tomimatsu Entrepreneur

What is the “Founder story”?

Serenity Organizers was founded by Audrey Hanneman and Lori Tomimatsu. Both had careers that sent them around the world for many years. They were college roommates, moms, and lifelong friends. The duo describes themselves as insatiable travelers, somewhat germaphobes, and devotees of organization.  Audrey was always the wannabe entrepreneur and finally got her chance at 60 years old. The Pandemic inspired Audrey to dust off a 20+-year-old business plan. With the world instantly educated about viruses and germs, she called her old college roommate, Lori, to see if she would join her for a little adventure!  Lori had one foot on the retirement step, but it didn’t take much convincing once Audrey explained the product, she was all in.  Both went to work and zoomed in daily, creating and designing new products. No one knew what was going to happen at that point. Lori called in chits from around the world and had samples on Audrey’s desk in 1 month. Five months later, they had a kit ready for market. It had a seat and tray organizer, a packet of wipes, and a mask.  It was now 9 months into the pandemic, and no one was flying, but Audrey made a website, and 450  kits sold in one month.

How did you come up with the idea?

Both Lori and Audrey were avid travelers and had careers that sent them around the world for many years. Both were a bit germaphobic and had perfected the “art of travel” by organizing essentials that made travel easier. Before there was Covid, both had spent 20+ years wiping down headrests, trays, nobs & seat belts. They also carried on light throws to cover their seats. Audrey sewed an airline seat cover over 8 years ago and tried to use it but felt like the entire plane was staring at her.

So now that the pandemic had made everyone germaphobes, Audrey figured it was the perfect opportunity to develop her idea. The original idea was enhanced with storage, which makes the organizers indispensable when traveling.

Serenity Organizers Reviews

What do customers love most about the product? What are they saying?

Customers love the storage! Even more importantly, they can’t believe how stress-free it is to have everything at your fingertips during a flight. No balancing things on your lap and dropping things on the floor. No constantly digging into your carry-on to try to find something. Mom likes the storage and knowing that the seats and trays are clean when they travel with kids. They don’t have to “manage” all the kid’s toys, snacks, drinks, etc. Kids will have all their own stuff now that it is at their fingertips.

We were recently showing our product at an Emmy event.  The most common comments were: “These are Genius!  Why hasn’t anyone thought of this? You need to be on Shark Tank.”
