In an exciting stride towards empowering neurodiverse individuals, the Sensory Pathway Center is proud to announce the opening of its first location in Dayton, New Jersey. Founded by the visionary Manisha Lad, this groundbreaking nonprofit facility is committed to providing unparalleled support and therapy for individuals with autism. As the center prepares to open its doors, it aims to revolutionize the way autism therapy is approached, embracing innovation and compassion in equal measure.
The Sensory Pathway Center’s mission is made possible through the generous funding of the Akhil Autism Foundation (AAF), a New Jersey-based nonprofit organization dedicated to Educating, Treating, Supporting, and Researching Autism worldwide. The inspiration behind the Akhil Autism Foundation comes from Manisha’s son Akhil, who was diagnosed with Autism at only 18 months. While the news was difficult at the beginning, Manisha and her husband Mahesh wasted no time in finding suitable treatments for Akhil, who now attends Rowan College of South Jersey. The union of these two forces brings together a wealth of knowledge, experience, and passion to serve the neurodiverse community.
