This film is a testament to your skill as an investigator as well as a filmmaker. You blaze a path in film by calling attention to a national issue in a bipartisan method.  What was involved in making this intriguing, meaningful documentary?

Thanks for the kind words my background is that of a researcher, I’m a due diligence guy and then I like to be a storyteller, I’m also a Libra and therefore I try to be balanced in everything I do and therefore I strive to provide a balanced presentation.  When you are given the stakes of what we’re talking about it, it doesn’t matter if you’re a republican or democrat.  We all need to protect ourselves or we could all die.

This pandemic as called many issues into the limelight, while the news piles on more and more stories that battle for people’s attention. With so many serious problems in the world right now, why did you choose to make a film about our Power Grid?

I’ve been a geopolitical student for many years. I came upon this film that was partway done and frankly I felt like God was calling me to finish it given my background in film, geopolitical interest, current station in life

It is evident in every frame that the choices behind the documentary were deliberate and informed. It’s a thorough education in our Power Grid. Why did you choose to title the film ‘Grid Down, Power Up’? What is your overall message to the viewers?

We have a two-part title: grid down, power up. Both parts are important

The term “Grid Down” speaks to the negative risk, & describes it well and then “Power up” speaks to the positive, that the American citizens need to “Power Up” to take back their “Power” from the bureaucrats and ensure that our power stays on.

‘Grid Down, Power Up’ covers the many layers and players of the U.S. Power Grid. From retired veterans to active members in the government, your film takes us on a journey. We can witness passion, hard work, and diligence that resulted in this excellent film. How do you feel now that your pivotal film is out?

I’m excited that the American people can learn about this existential (sp) threat so that we can resolve it. The hard work is just getting started for us to create a movement & fix this critical vulnerability.

You and the Paul Revere Films, LLC are showing up as big advocates, calling out our nation’s security regarding our vulnerable Power Grid. This film isn’t your only contribution to a better, safer future for us all. Could you tell us more about the next steps for the film? We heard that Dennis Quaid is going to narrating the film that must be great news and how did that come about?

The next steps are to market it heavily and continue to inform people. we are looking for influencers who can get sold on the film’s objectives and then have them spread the message to their fans. Yes, Dennis Quaid has agreed to narrate, and he will be a huge asset for the film & our movement. We have been personal friends ever since I was involved with the movie Soul Surfer where he starred in the role of Bethany Hamilton’s father. Dennis believes in the premise of the film and is a fellow courageous patriot and wants to make a difference.
