Tell us about the founder. What is their background?
Our founder, Breanna Giglio, has a background as a pediatric nurse and started Bashify while working on the front lines of the pandemic as a creative outlet. Bre has always been creative, even from a young age; as a teenager, she even had a Facebook page where she sold art pieces and DIY decor to family and friends. She has always had a stylist’s eye and loved all things fashion, home decor, and now parties! Bashify
How did they come up with the idea?
Bre first found a passion for event planning and parties while planning her own wedding in the midst of the pandemic in 2020. After enjoying a luxury picnic in California on her honeymoon, Bre was inspired to start her own event and picnic business in Seattle, WA. What started as a small business doing two-person date night picnics quickly expanded to larger events with clients like NFL players, influencers, and the star of The Bachelorette. Seeing the large gap between the average consumer’s budget and the price tag of a party planner, Bashify sought to help make every person feel like they can throw an extravagant party with their bash boxes!
