Livia, thank you for joining us today. Let’s start from the beginning. Can you tell us how you first got into acting?
Thank you for having me! My journey into acting actually began with modeling. I was scouted in Budapest and had a successful career on the runway and in fashion magazines. But deep down, I always felt a strong pull towards acting. I wanted to explore different characters and tell their stories. Eventually, I transitioned into acting, starting with local theater productions, and then pursued formal training to hone my skills.
That’s fascinating. You’ve had quite the career transition. Speaking of storytelling, your short film “The End…” has received a lot of acclaim. Livia, Can you tell us more about that project and what inspired it?
“The End…” is a project very close to my heart. It’s a psychological thriller that delves into the complexities of human emotions and relationships. The inspiration came from a combination of personal experiences and a desire to explore the darker aspects of the human psyche. The film examines the thin line between love and obsession and how far people can go when pushed to their limits.
Your performance in “The End…” was outstanding. How did it feel to receive awards and recognition for this film?
It was incredibly rewarding and humbling. Making “The End…” was a labor of love, and to see it resonate with audiences and critics alike means a lot. The awards and recognition validate the hard work of everyone involved in the project. It’s also a great motivator to keep pushing the boundaries and taking on challenging roles.
Speaking of challenging roles, you recently played the female lead in a psychological thriller with Kevin Spacey and Eric Roberts. What was that experience like?
It was an amazing experience. Working with actors of such caliber was both intimidating and inspiring. They bring so much depth and professionalism to their performances. Sharing the screen with them pushed me to elevate my own acting. The role was intense and required me to dig deep emotionally, but it was incredibly fulfilling.
You’ve shown great versatility in your roles, from independent films to major productions. How do you choose the projects you work on?
I look for roles that challenge me and stories that need to be told. It’s important for me to connect with the character and the narrative on a personal level. I also consider the team behind the project—working with passionate and talented people is always a plus. Ultimately, I aim to be part of projects that provoke thought and evoke strong emotions in the audience.
Beyond acting, you’re also known for your philanthropic efforts, especially in mental health awareness. Can you tell us more about that?
Mental health is an issue very close to my heart. I’ve seen firsthand how it can affect individuals and families, and I believe it’s crucial to break the stigma surrounding it. I actively support organizations that promote mental health awareness and provide resources for those in need. It’s important to use my platform to advocate for these causes and make a positive impact.
That’s truly commendable. I’ve also heard you enjoy singing and even performed with a rock ‘n’ roll band for your birthday. Can you tell us about that?
Yes, I enjoy singing and music. It was a fun experience performing with the band. Music has always been a big part of my life, and singing allows me to express myself in a different way. It was a fantastic way to celebrate my birthday and share a different side of my creativity with friends and family.
