What is the “Founder story”?
Urban Hydration began as a collection of natural body butters for a charitable initiative that our founder was a part of. It later evolved into a carefully curated portfolio of clean, plant-based skin, hair, and body care products now distributed across 40,000 stores nationwide. Now we are strategic partners with the non-profit WATERisLIFE. In this partnership, we have helped over 100,000 people have access to clean drinking water. In fact, Urban Hydration provides lifesaving hydration to global communities in need with every product sold.
How did you come up with the idea?
Our story was a bit different because our founder always had eczema and it was hard for her as a young adult to keep her skin moisturized and use popular smelling cosmetics that were usually in stores. Urban Hydration’s idea was to be a brand that naturally and powerfully combats dryness and looks and feels like a high-end prestige product but is affordable and has no bad chemicals that would potentially break you out.
