What problem does the Voller solve?
We solve the problem of inflexible, unstylish, and unsuitable beach volleyball clothing. The Voller brand apparel is designed by beach volleyball players for that specific purpose. Anti-microbial fabric that is durable, moisture-wicking, and flexible gives the athlete a perfect option for their hard-fought battles in the sand.
Tell us about the founder. What is their background?
The 3 founders have spent their lives together since birth. They grew up playing sports together and always searching for sport-specific activewear fashion that was “cool” and served a design purpose in its respective sport.
The 3 founders fell in love with beach volleyball in the 1990s and then spent the decades-spanning their teens, 20’s, and 30’s playing beach volleyball while wearing clothing designed for surfers and basketball players. None of which is desirably designed for beach volleyball.
How did they come up with the idea?
With no “beach brand” standing out to take the lead in apparel designed specifically for beach volleyball, the 3 founders decided to take matters into their own hands and create the best beach volleyball apparel that money can buy. During the lockdown of 2020, the founders put their passion to paper and came up with the designs and fabric blends that you’ll find in our product line. Filtering through countless prototypes, samples, tests, and trials … they created something special. An apparel line specifically designed for beach volleyball with the highest quality of craftsmanship you’ll find on any beach player far and wide.
How can this transform the world or our day-to-day lives?
The founders of Voller are committed to beach volleyball and all that surrounds it. The beach life encompasses more than just a sport to be played. It’s about the planet and our place on it. All of our apparel is made from recycled materials and we promote the symbiotic relationship between v-ballers and the beach.
