There are two kinds of people in the world: the ones that go after their passion and the ones that follow a plan for stability in life. While some people settle into a career. Rapper $windlaaa knows that their future lies in their passion. $windlaaa was originally born in Upstate New York then move to Broward county Florida. He would spend most of his life Moving back and forth to both states. He was raised by a single mother.

He and his friends would do freestyle as they studied in high school. $windlaaa would later turn his closet into a homemade studio where they produced their own tracks. When he grew older, he went off to college, played, and excelled in college Track & Field. The future looked bright in that aspect, but he knew that he wanted to pursue arts.

Due to $windlaa moving back and forth from NY to FL, he was missing credits for a Scholarship and was told he could not participate in sports his first year in college. He was disappointed and felt he did not have a purpose in being in college without playing sports. Eventually, he decided to quit college to pursue a career in the music industry. The decision received backlash from his family, especially his mother.
