WonderWorks Branson has plenty of exciting, interactive opportunities planned for the coming months.
BRANSON, Missouri – (November 7, 2022) – To finish out the year, WonderWorks Branson has a wide variety of fun, and educational opportunities lined up. The programs will allow guests to celebrate and engage in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) activities, enter a local youth art contest, and nominate local students for their school achievements. There will be several unique opportunities for students of all ages to engage with.
“It’s no secret that we love all things STEM here at WonderWorks! Celebrating National STEM Day gives us a chance to offer some extra special hands-on experiments for our guests,” says Faith Bovo, education sales manager at WonderWorks Branson.
WonderWorks Branson strives to offer unique programs that align with its mission of sparking the imagination and inspiring the next generation of scientists, leaders, and creative thinkers. There are activities for all ages and interests, with something for everyone. Their attractions engage the mind and provide fun and memorable learning experiences.
Some of the special activities that will be available now through the end of the year include:
- Celebrate National STEM Day on November 8, 2022. WonderWorks will be offering a variety of hands-on demonstrations to celebrate STEM. There will be experiences and fun learning opportunities throughout the amusement park, allowing guests to get up close and personal with STEM/STEAM concepts. These offerings will be included in the purchase of a general admission ticket.
- Enter the youth art contest. Local student artists are invited to enter the annual Art Contest to have their work displayed in the OZART: Missouri & Arkansas Young Artists Gallery inside WonderWorks. This year’s contest theme is “Brought to Light.” Students, parents, or teachers can submit their artwork online: https://www.wonderworksonline.com/branson/art-contest/.
- Acknowledge a student who has made great achievements. WonderWorks’ upcoming WonderKids program highlights student success in Strength through Adversity and Future Scientist categories. WonderKids is a way to recognize students in the community who take an interest in science or who have pushed themselves beyond what they thought was possible. Missouri and Arkansas teachers are invited to nominate their students online beginning November 7, 2022: https://www.wonderworksonline.com/branson/wonderkids/.
