WonderWorks Panama City is offering a variety of educational activities this summer.
PANAMA CITY BEACH, Florida – (June 5, 2023) – Florida summers are known to be hot and rainy, and most families will turn to indoor attractions to have fun. WonderWorks Panama City Beach is the perfect destination for families looking to stay cool and keep the learning going this summer. From hands-on exhibits to special events, their offerings are not only educational but also fun and engaging, ensuring a great summer outing for everyone.
“Here at WonderWorks, we are committed to spreading our love of learning with every guest visiting! Come to the upside-down house this summer for a fun yet educational experience you’ll never forget,” says Kathryn Lawrence, education sales manager at WonderWorks Panama City Beach.
WonderWorks keeps the learning going all summer by offering over 100 hands-on exhibits for guests to play and engage with. The exhibits and activities are all focused on themes involving science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM). Not only will kids create fun summer memories and stay entertained, but they will also be challenged and learn something new.
Throughout the year, WonderWorks offers a variety of educational programs, making it an excellent place for families and groups of all kinds to visit. In addition to all their exhibits, they provide demonstrations and experiments during special events. Each experiment has been designed to provide a fun way for spectators to get up close and personal with STEAM concepts, and the demonstrations often relate back to an exhibit within the building. Special events include a National STEM Day celebration, a youth art contest, student achievement award programs, and much more. Guests can also enhance their visit by engaging in a science scavenger hunt using the WonderWorks activity booklet. Those who take on this challenge will be inspired to learn as much as possible during their time in the upside-down house.
WonderWorks also provides teachers with educational standard alignments in conjunction with the educational goals and standards set by the local school districts. This allows K-12 teachers to connect the activities their students will experience at WonderWorks to concepts being taught in the classroom. WonderWorks also often partners with educational leaders in the community in various ways to support educational activities and programs, often soliciting feedback on ways to improve their offerings to enhance the learning experience for all.
“WonderWorks is the perfect stop for groups of all kinds. With four floors of exciting attractions, you’ll have a full day of fun!” added Darren Grooms, general manager at WonderWorks Panama City Beach.
WonderWorks Panama City Beach offers six Wonder Zones for guests to explore. Attractions include a virtual reality Grave Digger monster truck ride, the Bubble Lab, extreme weather experiences, space discovery simulators, the illusion art gallery, and physical challenges. WonderWorks is open year-round, ensuring non-stop “edu-tainment” for locals and visitors.
