Don Gramur

Don Gramur, a hip hop and R&B artist, has been confident in his abilities since childhood. He began participating in and winning talent shows when he was only five years old. Don Gramur has a rich musical background in various styles, having sung in choirs for a significant portion of his childhood and early adult life.

In college, he studied and sang classical music, folk music, Negro spirituals, and various other musical styles. He frequently performed in recital halls and theaters, captivating audiences with English, German, French, Italian, and Spanish songs.

The Writer and Musician

Don Gramur decided to start writing music when he was 15 years old. Growing up, he always heard his father write and perform music at home. He eventually realized that his talent extended far beyond singing in choir concerts and talent shows. He released his first mixtape, “Pos Rap,” in 2013. Don cherished the project because it was his first creation that was released to the public, even though it had low-quality sound production and did not cause him to go viral.

He continued to release mixtapes until 2019 when he recorded his first professional sound recording, “Freedom for the Slaves.” Don Gramur was not well-versed in music marketing and promotion then, so the song did not win him many fans. However, this did not deter him from continuing to release singles. Don Gramur released over 15 singles in 2020 and amassed over 130,000 Spotify streams. While this may appear to be a minor accomplishment for a mainstream artist, it was a significant achievement for Don Gramur, especially given that he promoted his own music independently. One of his most popular songs in 2020 was “Self Love Drippin,” which was played on a radio station in Atlanta, Georgia. Don Gramur’s fan base grew in 2020, and he was grateful for it.

In 2021, he released his first full-length album, “The Machine,” which included 16 songs. The Machine was an enlightening album that addressed issues in the industry as well as societal struggles. The album was also inspirational and uplifting to those who preferred MCs who took a more positive approach. Don Gramur is optimistic about the future of “The Machine,” which is still doing well in terms of streaming.

So far, 2022 has been a quiet year for Don Gramur. He has stated that he is ready to release new singles. “I have been working very diligently throughout 2022,” Don Gramur said when asked about his new projects. I’ve faced many challenges up to this point, but I’ve overcome them all. Spiritually and mentally, I’m in a better place now. People may have thought I’d given up on my dreams, but I’ve been cooking up the heat. When the time is right, I will use my talent to enlighten the world. Let’s just say it will come as a surprise to many. To be honest, I’m on another level right now. My fans are in for a treat.”
