SYRACUSE, New York – (May 6, 2024) – Nationally, Teacher Appreciation Week is recognized during the first full week of May – this year from May 6-10th, 2024. To celebrate local educators and spread appreciation for their hard work, WonderWorks Destiny is offering free admission for all teachers and educational support staff throughout the entire month of May. Educators can register online for their printable voucher to score free tickets, plus up to four additional guests receiving half off admission. During May 2024, teachers and school support staff can take advantage of this event to explore everything the upside-down lab has to offer for free. The admission gives them access to all the hands-on science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM) focused exhibits, a challenging ropes course, laser tag, the 4D XD motion theater, and more. Up to four additional guests visiting with the guest of honor can get half off their admission ticket, making it the perfect day out with the family. This annual appreciation special is open to all current teachers and educational support staff. Educators must register online to receive their discount voucher to turn in upon arrival to redeem their free ticket and score the discounted rate for guests. A valid school ID or a recent pay stub must also be presented upon entrance.
