MYRTLE BEACH, South Carolina– (May 2, 2022) – May is Teacher Appreciation Month, and WonderWorks Myrtle Beach is celebrating by offering free admission for teachers and support staff all month long. All teachers and staff from South Carolina and North Carolina schools with valid identification can receive free admission to WonderWorks during the month of May. Sharing the love even further, up to four additional guests will receive 50% off their admission ticket. To receive free admission, teachers will need to complete the online registration form, and present a valid school ID or recent pay stub upon entry.
“It’s safe to say everyone has fond memories of that teacher who made learning fun,” says Kaitlin Barnes, education sales manager of WonderWorks Myrtle Beach. “This special month at WonderWorks is to honor and say ‘thank you’ to those teachers! This is our way of showing a small bit of appreciation.”
This opportunity is an excellent way for teachers and school support staff to enjoy time with their family and friends while experiencing learning concepts in fun ways that they can relate to the lessons shared with their students. WonderWorks Myrtle Beach is filled with exhibits rooted in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) principles. The facility also recently launched its new STEM room, which includes exhibits focused on robotics, shark anatomy, and more.
