How many times have you looked at a clothing brand and decided not to purchase from them because their message was not right? Or because they did not have your size? Could it have been because the models shown on the website were not relatable to you or your appearance? The truth is many times we want to buy a product but have many reasons why we do not. Lately, it comes down to the kind of message a company sends out. Clothing brands need to represent every individual that may come across their store. Avery Campbell, the entrepreneur behind The Royal Rose Company, has created a clothing line which does just that.

A man building a kingdom

Avery Campbell is becoming a most-tweeted name among Twitter’s young entrepreneurs as he continues to build his brand and his kingdom. Starting as a member of Stan Twitter, he turned his account around as he found his way, realizing the entrepreneurial journey was the path for him. His followers have watched him become a published author, designer, entrepreneur, and business coach.

In November of 2018, Campbell began his journey launching Royal Rose Magazine. With six issues now live, the magazine celebrates the highs, lows, and everything in between of a diverse number of writers. Contrary to what most new magazines are doing, he offers contributors a payment for their pieces. This awoke Campbell’s entrepreneur gene and pushed him to follow the career of his dreams.

Two years later, Campbell launched The Royal Rose Company, a clothing line that soon took over social media and reached customers worldwide. This entrepreneur handled everything on his own, from branding, marketing, and exposure to designing every piece, creating a website, and handling customer service. As he continued to grow, he realized he could share his knowledge with struggling entrepreneurs who needed guidance to get their businesses up and running. With that in mind, he founded Royal Rose University. This coaching company helps first-time entrepreneurs launch and build their online business through business and social media planning. Avery Campbell describes himself as a business coach who helps black and queer entrepreneurs create a profitable social media presence for their online business.

A brand for royals

Avery Campbell’s goal was for every one of his customers to feel like royalty when wearing one of his outfits or styling themselves with one of The Royal Rose Company’s accessories. How has he done this? By providing great designs that are size-inclusive and unisex, helping everyone find something for themselves.

To this day, this black-trans-owned brand has launched ten different collections: The Rose Collection, The Ivy Collection, The Diamond Collection, The Customer Collection, The Browne Collection, The Avery Kane Collection, The Amelia Collection, Father’s Day Collection, Pride Collection, and Summer Collection. Each of them offers unique pieces the founder has designed himself. This brand’s most innovative thing was allowing customers to be part of the creative process of one of their collections (The Customer Collection), letting them choose different outfits and accessories.

“Our brand,” says Campbell, “is gender-neutral, with most of our clothing going up to a size 5X. We want people to easily imagine themselves in our products because that is who is in mind when designing every item. With simple and clean but powerful designs, the focus will always be on you.”

If you have found yourself on more than one occasion trying to find a brand that would meet your needs and stand by your beliefs, The Royal Rose Company will now solve all your issues. Avery Campbell has created a kingdom of diverse businesses that will have his clients feeling like royals.
