What is the “Founder story”?
Michael Deleeuw was a Financial Services Professional who traveled frequently for his job. He was on back-to-back flights, each time sharing a row with a stinky passenger. That’s when he realized he could use the power of aromatherapy to control the scents around him.
How did you come up with the idea?
Essence has a shared goal to help others live happier, healthier lives each and every day. They began with a simple thought, “What if we could utilize the benefits of essential oils at any time of day?”. Using essential oils is a common practice, but being able to discreetly use them at work, on the go, and whenever you need was an issue they wanted to solve. And they have. Essence is a high-grade silicone nose ring infused with quality essential oils. They designed them specifically to sit comfortably at the base of your nose, almost completely out of view.
