Bailey Spinnenweber, 19, better known by her millions of fans as “Bailey Spinn” has amassed 9.8 Million TikTok followers in just over a year, with her TikTok account now growing at a rate of 1M new followers per month. With 388M likes and more than 1.4 Billion total views on the popular platform, Bailey Spinn has become the reigning queen of POV comedic video vignettes.
On December 29th, Bailey Spinn made her debut with iconic beauty expert, Allure Magazine, as part of Allure’s “Tries 9 Things” celebrity video series, titled, Bailey Spinnenweber Tries 9 Things She’s Never Done Before.
In the Bailey x Allure video collab, The beautiful blonde TikTok comedienne tries out her comedy skills in front of Allure’s cameras in a series of skits and doesn’t disappoint!
Reminiscent of bubbly blonde comedienne’s before her, 19-year-old Bailey’s comedic vignettes poke fun at everything from mean girls and fashion faux pas; to lip-syncing skits, awkward social moments, fashion moments, and hilarious dating and love fail. It also doesn’t hurt that she looks like every guy’s teenage dream and her “POV” video style makes the viewer feel like she is talking directly to them.
As part of the wave of the influencer economy which exploded during the pandemic, this college sophomore earned herself a mid-six-figure income from her college dorm room in 2021, and 2022 only promises more growth for Spinnenweber.
Although social media has been a mixed bag for young people and self-esteem, for Spinnenweber, it’s turned her life around for the better. “TikTok saved my life. It allowed me to put my energy into something positive rather than things that were not helping me, and it gave me a creative outlet to express my true personality and laugh at the things that used to hurt me.”
Bailey’s videos are known for their “every girl” relatability. But some of them, Bailey says, “are just fun to watch,” adding, “I’m known for my surprising plot twists.”
Bailey’s landed brand endorsement deals with companies, including Grammar.ly, Steve Madden, Princess Polly, Aeropostale, Curology, and Netflix to name just a few. This Allure Magazine collab puts her on the road to take her brand of physical comedy to more expanded platforms.
A dedicated fitness buff, animal lover, and vegan, Bailey’s main objective is to use her newfound notoriety and influence to champion teen anti-bullying initiatives, a dangerous mental health hazard she is all too familiar with.
“I can be a powerful ally and a positive influence for young people who are experiencing bullying.”
She also has her sights set on a career in television comedy. “Acting is definitely on the horizon for me. I’ve been playing to a daily audience of 9 million people, making people laugh and helping them to see life from different perspectives with my videos.”
