In a decisive move to address and spotlight the ever-increasing menace of human trafficking, the international group Voices Against Trafficking is convening a seminal online human rights forum on September 27, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. – to 3:00 p.m. EDT. The event will be broadcast live on Facebook via VoicesAgainstTrafficking.com and YouTube, aiming to reach a wide international audience.
As human trafficking continues its sinister spread, the forum raises pressing questions: Is there hope on the horizon? What measures can be taken to protect vulnerable communities, particularly children? And critically, what proactive steps are currently underway to shield potential victims from this nefarious trade?
Headlining the forum will be Emmy-award-winning anchor and reporter Kelly Wright, widely recognized as the host of “America’s Hope with Kelly Wright” on the NTD/Epoch Times Network. Wright, known for his incisive reporting and analytical prowess, will surely bring depth and gravity to the discussion.
In addition to Wright, the forum has enlisted the expertise of Brian “Patton” Searcy, Col. (Ret) USAF, a respected figure who established The Paratus Group. This organization’s vital mission is to instill awareness and safeguard measures within communities, urging them to “Be Aware and Stay Safe.”
Perhaps the most poignant voices will be those of Mark and Terri Stemann, founders of “Let Our Children Go.” Born out of a personal nightmare, their nonprofit educates families based on their traumatic experience of having their seven children unlawfully taken. Their testament will highlight the imperatives of parents’ rights and underscore what parents urgently need to be aware of in today’s tumultuous times.
The grim reality of human trafficking, a grotesque modern-day slavery, underscores the urgency of this conference. It’s the fastest-growing multibillion-dollar criminal enterprise, targeting men, women, and especially children. This issue transcends politics, reaching the core of morality and human rights.
With its dedicated commitment to making a tangible difference in 2023, Voices Against Trafficking aims to galvanize the public into action against this rampant evil. Presiding over the forum as moderator will be The Hon. Blanquita Cullum, ensuring a focused and enlightening discussion.
The public is strongly encouraged to tune in and join this momentous conversation, serving as potential changemakers in this battle between right and wrong.
